Advanced and Applied Project Management is designed to help the project management practitioners improve their expertise through a combination of lecture, hands-on exercises, and simulation software. The simulation software allows class teams to carry a realistic project from beginning to end. These sessions will not only test the participants’ ability to plan, execute, and control the project, but also gain some valuable lessons learned from leading a project team with issues that we encounter on our every day projects. In addition to the simulation software sessions, teams will perform hands-on exercises in the following areas:
• Project Definition
• Stakeholder Identification and Analysis
• Risk Identification and Analysis
• Lessons Learned and Final Reporting
