In using www.projectleadershipseries.com and www.tandenllc.com you are deemed to have read and agreed to the following terms and conditions:

Terminology

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and any or all Agreements: “Client”, “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person accessing this website and accepting the Company’s terms and conditions. “The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We” and “Us”, refers to our Company, Tanden LLC. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves, or either the Client or ourselves.

“Virtual” refers to Tanden’s training courses, webinars, and other sessions delivered via Tanden’s online (or internet) interface. “Virtual-live” refers to instructor-led classes, workshops, or webinars where participants are in real-time exchange with the instructor. “Virtual-Self-paced” refers to recorded classes, workshops, or webinars where participants are not in live interaction with the instructor; however, participants can access these sessions at their time of convenience. 

 

All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner, whether by formal meetings of a fixed duration, or any other means, for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services/products, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing United States Law. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

 

License Agreement and Intellectual Property Rights

Tanden is a Global Registered Education Provider (REP) of the Project Management Institute (PMI®) and is committed to a strict adherence to its Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct.

In addition, Tanden honors the intellectual property protections and copyrights of its content providers – both internal and external.  As a result, we expect our users and customers to adhere to the same licensing standards including:

License Agreement for Virtual Classroom (“Live” and “Self-paced”) 

Payment of a virtual session gives you a personal non-exclusive, non-transferable license to attend one Virtual Classroom session. Transferring or sharing your license with anyone else is a violation of the licensing agreement and is subject to legal action. Further, transferring or sharing your license with anyone else is in violation of the PMI® Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct.

Recordings

All Virtual Classroom courses delivered by Tanden are recorded and kept for attendees to access for up to six months following session delivery. The “Virtual-Live” recordings include any student questions or comments.

Intellectual Property and Copyright

All content delivered through The Project Leadership SeriesSM is the exclusive copyright of Tanden LLC.  The content is not authorized for reproduction or commercial use without the express written authorization of Tanden LLC. Improper use of Tanden’s intellectual property or violation of copyright is subject to legal action.


Privacy Policy

What information do we collect?

We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order, subscribe to our newsletter or fill out a form.

When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number or credit card information.

Google, a third party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on your site. Google’s use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to your users based on their visit to your sites and other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy.

The email address you provide for order processing, may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order, in addition to receiving occasional company news, updates, related product or service information, etc.

Note: If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.

How do we protect your information?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information.

We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.

After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be kept on file for more than 60 days.

Do we use cookies?

Yes (Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information

We use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart, understand and save your preferences for future visits and compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future. We may contract with third-party service providers to assist us in better understanding our site visitors. Because we value your privacy we have taken the necessary precautions to be in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.

As part of the California Online Privacy Protection Act, all users of our site may make any changes to their information at any time by logging into their control panel and going to the ‘My Account / Account Management’ page.

Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act); we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.
